About syncing, where are track files located?

Hi, and thank you for this very nice app.

i made a lot of tracks over the time i use Locus and want to track more in future. But for now i want to display all my tracks in a website. I use my Nextcloud with GpxPod for that. It works very well. But i have to first export all Locus tracks into a folder and than import it into Nextcloud via theirs Android Client. Besides the last step creates everytime a new file if a file with the same name is present the whole proces is to expensive to do it every day. So i would highly apprechiate a more convenient way to do this.

My thoughts about it:

1) I think of let Nextcloud client keep track of the folder that contains all tracks and points, but cant find it.

2) Is it easy (with my very little knowledge in coding Android) to write a Locus Plugin that pushes the file to my Nextcloud on the broadcast Track:End?

3) Is it possible to include Nexcloud in the supported file providers (like Drive and Dropbox). But would not solve the problem.

Thanks in advance

Hi Servaus,

Locus Map, so far, does not support syncing with Nextcloud. Please set your Backup manager automatic backup to Dropbox or Google Drive instead. Or, share your backup files with Nextcloud, see https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tools:backup#backup_sharing.

Complete file syncing is planned in Locus but it'll take some more time before it's done.

Michal
