Absolutely no access to Locus Store

Hello,

i have the problem that i cannot acces the locus store. it says in german "der zugriff auf den locus store erfordert ein aktives google konto auf deinem geraet".

in englisch: "you need an active google account on your mobile"

i have an active google-account on my smartphone (samsung s3)

i have access to google play also.

you Google account is account ending @gmail.com or at least Google hosted account over Google App for Business service?

I have no explanation to this problem. Locus currently use one function from API for developers, that returns all google accounts in device. Only in cases, returned list of account is empty, message you saw appear. I'm trying to find on internet if anyone other had problems with this method, but do not look so.


You use latest 3.7.x version of Locus, your Samsung S3 has original ROM, Locus is downloaded over Google Play?

yes i have bought it over google play.

it is a lot of time ago.

but i remember there for a strange thing. i have bought locus pro and a few other apps with my ggogle account thomas....@ . So far, so good. A few moth later, i bought a galaxy ace for my son max.

In initializingprocess this mobile, i created an account for my son, the initialization-process ask me (dont why and i dont no any details) for an alternative mail. in this point i put additionally my own tho****@ account in there.

After this moment, all old bought apps was moved from my google-account to the google-acccount to my son max.

At that time i contacted google, but there said it was impossible that the apps where moved.

I explained with the bill of my creditcard that the apps (and Locus pro) was bought with my own and older googleaccount , with my creditcard at a time, where the new account from my son doesnt exist.

But they didnt help.

So perhaps, that is a possible point?

thank you for an extra description. I personally have to say, that I never heard about something like "app were move to different account". I also think that this is no a possible. Anyway if your son, has his and also yours account in his device, it may do some problems and it may also cause that all your apps are available for your son as well.


Anyway I think that this has nothing to do with our problem here.


Please open settings of your device > account and check if you really have your account in list of available accounts on this device (maybe it should be hidden under "Google" folder).

yes it is possible. i found a long time ago a site where they discussed th way to move it, very complicated, i did not unterstand it.


yes there are two accounts active,

And the account where locus is moved to also.

sorry to say this, but I have absolutely no idea what may be wrong here. Locus use absolutely basic function to get list of registered Google accounts in your device. There is no other way then to use this in-build function. I'm trying to search on internet if someone has same problem, but seems not.


Because email account is required only to access Locus Store, all other functions works correctly for you right? Fine.


Only idea what I should try on your place, is to change your googlemail to gmail account by method here https://support.google.com/mail/answer/159001?hl=en . Googlemail should not be a problem, because many users use this email and it works!, but maybe it should help on this problem.

it is necessary to have billing information in the account?

because the account from my son, where the locus app now belongs, have never had billing information like credit card or so.

Hmm no, really nothing except existing email account registered in device is needed.


Locus also do not care which account was used for purchase of Locus. Really only! needed is this: http://cdn.gottabemobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Screen-Shot-2013-11-20-at-3.03.36-PM.png - added accounts in your device settings. Even all synchronisations may be disabled, Locus do not care about it.


When you tap on "Store" button in Locus, Locus check by simple request if any accounts exists in device and if so, allows to choose one, that will be used to access a Store. But there is no place, where should be an issue in this simple request. I really would like to help, but I do not see a option what I may do ... :(

Yes, similiar like my samsung s3, sync is active.

i removed one account and try locus store and then i try only the other acount, no way.

both accounts, active in samsung s3 dont work, but i cann use google play from both accounts.

I'm searching searching, reading Google documentation for Android developing, no success.


One more question - aren't you using any special application that may block features/permissions of other applications? Locus require access to list of your accounts and I'm sure, they may exists app that are able to block this.


And btw. what about device of your son, there is no such problem with Locus Store, did you tried it? Have to say that this is really really weird issue.
