Actioncam option
Declined
Hello,
It would be great to have an action CAM option : be able to create an option to use gpx track for pictures taken with action camera. Mostly these pictures are taken from 0.5 picture/sec. A track having points with same catachteristic would be welcome.
Good day Jean,
may do describe to me, someone not using mapping of camera pictures to location, what more you expect from Locus Map app here?
You needs to have recorded track with recorded location every sec? Just setup your recording profile based on your needs: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:recording:settings

Thanks for your answer. it seems I can't record 2 Hertz (2 log/sec). Other thing I wish there could be more pictograms : train and actioncam.
Here you have some links

Good day Jean-Louis,
you can't record more than one location / sec, because (almost) all GPS in Android devices handle locations in 1/sec frequency. If you define in recording profile time and distance to 0, Locus Map will record all received data, not matter of its frequency.
About icon ... I expect you are doing some activity during recording, like ride a bike. So your activity is not directly "action cam". Then such icon does not make sense.
Thanks for understanding.

If you have latest Locus Map screenshot, please attach screenshot once more (seems that previous is not visible) , thanks!

I think it would be good to get a way to qualify tracks that where used to locate pictures and those that where only for mapping or whatever.

Good day Jean-Louis,
as you may see, method how you add screenshots here, does not work!
Separating tracks may be also done by special folders. Feel free to create folder for every needed type of track as described here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:management#tracks_routes_folder
