Activating all additional waypoints of all caches in a map
Answered
In Locus Pro, I have multiple mystery caches stored in a map. They all have Personal Notes that contain WGS coords. These are nicely picked up by Locus when loading/updating the cache: it makes it an additional waypoint. These are normally disabled / not displayed by a red line and dot.
But is there a way to activate (make it display) all these additional waypoints of all stored caches in a map at once? Sometimes, fiddling with Locus, this is done and I see a lot of red lines with dot-shaped WPs. But I never found out how to accomplish this on purpose.
Thanks!
Hello,
exactly for this task is menu > more > Geocaching Tools > Load all waypoints
Anyway just warning - in current version of Locus is a bug and this feature do not work perfectly. It do not load "All" waypoints, but only a types that you checked in menu > settings > geocaching > Automatic loading of waypoints. So if you want to load really all, just check here (in settings) all types.
It will be fixed in next version.

Yep, works indeed. Did not know this option. Now I have _all_ my mystery solutions (that were copied as WGS coords into the cache webpage into Personal Note) nicely connected as WP with a thin red line connected to the mystery cache :)
I am happy.
So maybe, when working in this area, it is an idea to switch visibility of WPs for all caches per folder: go into the folder. Like: Go to folder. Then Menu --> show all WPs

Hi,
perfect it works for you.
About idea - understand it may be useful, but I do not think such feature deserve place in main menu of every folder. If I got any idea, I'll implement it.

Hi,
any progress in this? I will welcome something like "Show all waypoints for this folder". Because now I have to go to settings, check "Load all waypoints", then unshow and show caches to see waypoints. But I don't want to show them every time I show some items on map so I have to then uncheck this setting. I have to repeat this process every time I want to see waypoints on map.
This do not need to be on folder level. It could be option after select items in folder.
Hope this is understandable.
Thanks.

That is exactly what I need:) I have never seen this option there. I read your first post before, but I was not paying attention good enough probably. Thanks.
