Add azimuth to the two finger Quick Measure line in Map Objects and Stopwatch
Incredibly fantastic App, been happily using for many years. Thanks for a great resource!!
It would be extremely useful to add azimuth below the distance displayed when the two finger Quick Measure line is used. Among other things I use Locus for sailing where course plotting and headings are vital for the boat's magnetic compass, and to be able to look ahead for the next course change and calculating wind for tacking. I've successfully used the shareware Mapc2Mapc program to convert NOAA BNB raster charts to the Locus sqlitedb format for offline use. It would also be a nice addition, as others have mentioned, to include the azimuth between waypoints when examining a plotted route itinerary instead of just distance, for sailing and boating course analysis.
A final thought: A button addition to Quick Settings that would allow displayed headings and azimuths to switch between true and magnetic, with an entered or computed local deviation.
As a second final thought: I'd love to see a stopwatch, countup or countdown, displayed on the dashboard as a selectable button. This would be incredibly useful for various events while travelling. I currently use a link to a stopwatch app included on my right panel buttons. This forces me to briefly leave Locus while I check my timing. It works fine but is a sloppy interface.
Thanks again for the best Navigation App available!
Answered my bearing question and found the ability to add bearing below the measurement line in the config.cfg file under map items.
Additionally, though, would love a couple of additions to the config file that would allow changing the color of the Quick Measurement to other than pink and another setting that could change the persistence, in seconds, of the line after removing both fingers.

Good day M Henderson,
I'm glad ( and surprised ) that you have found a setting in config.cfg file, perfect.
Many of implemented ideas is because of voting here on help desk. In this case, it is little more complicated because you placed many ideas into single post, anyway we will see.
Enjoy Locus & outdoors ...

Using a text editor program open the config.cfg file.
Scroll down to the second to last subsection of "Map Items". Change the numbers to the following:
# value visible above/below lines, when you "select line" on map. Types in file header
map_items_selection_line_value_above=1
map_items_selection_line_value_below=2
Enjoy! Having distance and azimuth on the Quick Measure is very useful for boating.
