Add geocache to watchlist

but if c:geo is able to add a cache to a watch list, why would not it be possible also for G4L? maybe it is not via API, but some other way?...

Because c:geo completely violates all terms of use of Groundspeak. Locus Map & Geocaching4Locus not.

AFAIK, GSAK allows to add a cache to a watchlist, but it redirects us to the page at Groundspeak, where we have to click "yes". It can't add it directly. So, for the time being, GS API doesn't allow to do it.

I would like to have the availability to add caches to bookmark lists...

Has it become possible in the meantime? Is it possible to install this function similar to cgeo, maybe? Maybe by web request how it probably does cgeo - but I do not know how it works exactly?

Isn't adding caches into bookmark list already available over Geocaching4Locus? I think I saw this option in cache bottom menu.

As I see in bottom "share toolbar", there are already both required options here ...

I did not ask for these things, because many years ago I was informed that the API did not support it. So this screenshot is a huge surprise for me. I think not only for me.

The screenshot is from beta version which is freely available on Google Play (just open Google Play, search for addon, and at the bottom of app detail click on become a tester button or click here).

Actually Watch geocache open geocaching web page which add the geocache to watch list. The same for Bookmark geocache.

Because I can't imagine, we may get more from existing Geocaching API, I'm marking the idea as implemented.

At least bookmark a geocache should be able to handle via the grounspeak api.

@c.s.g. I know, this will be improved later. Anyway there is no API to create new bookmark list, you can only add geocaches to existing bookmark list. 🤔

Because of critical bug in a login process I have to a little bit push a new release. So finally version 2.2 is available on Google Play.

Thanks a lot! New version installed, bookmark and watch working correctly :)... When I want to start Live map, I get infor that my phone has custom battery saver and when I click on More info, page is not found, probably guide missing? :)

but the german translation für "bookmark geocache" is far to long an fills the pop up to the whole screen size. Maybe shorten to "Setze Lesezeichen"?

One Wish Is it possible to create an Live map shortcut into locus sidebar that avtivate the live map with one click? For now, I have to open the Geocachong4locus popup and tap on "live map".

i´ve changed it to "Lesezeichen setzen", so we´ll see after next update of GC4L ;-))

About Watch List and Favorite List, this will be redesigned in a future. Groundspeak has released a new Geocaching API to third party developers yesterday, where are present methods to manage both lists.

Really? New API? I only get email with information, that if I do not sign new Licence agreement within 6 days, they will remove support for Locus Map. I'm little offtopic, sorry, I was just too surprised to hear about some update in API after all these silent years ...
