Add GPS Altitude on screen

To see the actual GPS measured altitude of my standpoint immediately it would be useful to have the opportunity to place a field in one of the function panels.

It would make it easier than to switch to the GPS Menue and see there.

Good day Karl,

there are currently two options how to achieve this.

First is simply to tap on top app title in top toolbar and choose "GPS".

Second is little more complicated and it's based on existing feature called "Dashboard". Check our manual here, if this will be useful for you.

first option is not useful as it requires some taps to open and close the information, but thank you for the dashboard info - I created my own, so it shows the altitude on the screen.

Wy not 'Dynamic elevation' in 'map objects'?

Displays altitude value at the map screen center. It is based on available online altitude public file sources

@Karl: glad you found an usable solution

@Roland: I did not suggested "Dynamic elevation" because it is connected to map screen center cross. So it is needed to be "centered" to GPS location. Anyway yes, it is still usable, mainly if you have offline elevation data, then this "Dynamic elevation" is visible permanently and instantly.
