Add via point to on-going navigation

Is there a way to adda new via point to an on-going navigation that I don't see or is it not possible?
Right now, the only way I see is to re-enter the whole navigation - which can be annoying, especially on the road.
Bonus question: Is there a way to change the navigation profile after a navigation started? Sometimes I choose the wrong profile, or the result of the one I chose is not good and I want to try another - but I can't "edit" the current navigation, have to start from scratch. Or am I missing something?

Thx. The long-press trick is nice - though not really obvious (I know, it's in the manual, but it's not intuitive, because usually in Locus long-clicking on one of those "big flat buttons" just enables you to move them around).
The BRouter trick, judiging from the description, is not a solution, as it sounds more or less as complicated and auto-recalculate won't work, as I have to import a static GPX.
