Altitude difference for cursor-GPS-line
Completed
My most-used feature of Locus Maps Pro is the blue line connecting the cursor and the GPS position. I found it to be the most convenient way of quickly checking the distance to destinations. While in flat areas the altitude difference between my (the GPS) position and the cursor is not that important, it is one of the most important Information in the mountains.
My suggestion is to give the option to show the altitude difference (+/- x feet/metres) below the line - like the way it s already possible for guide mode.
Good day Jonathan,
this feature is already possible.
Feature is available over configuration file.
Search for parameters map_items_line_to_gps_value_above or map_items_line_to_gps_value_below
Possible values are in header of this file, anyway for elevation it is number 4.
So it should look like
If something is not clear, feel free to ask.

Nonetheless; is there a reason this option is not accessible via the normal configuration menus?

You are welcome :).
Reason is that I try to make application ... let's say ... more simple and such extra options are useful for advanced users only, so they are placed in this separate configuration file for now.
