Inconsistent analyzer vs track statistics

Tirfo shared this problem 6 years ago
Solved

Hi I observed a significant discrepancy for altitude difference between analyzer statistics and track statistics. Track statistics so far seemed to be consistent with other sources or my recordings, whereas analyzer values seem way too much. Example:

distance 470 km (stat) vs 470 km (analyzer)

altitude difference 9519 m (up) (stat) vs 12236 m (up) (analyzer). This resulted in 200-400 m difference for daily stages which is a lot.

Track had been altitude-corrected before using the elevation model in locus.

Can this be explained?

Thanks!

Good day Tirfo,

may you please provide me a screenshot and optionally track to test this problem? There should be differences between statistics visible on chart tab vs as text values in "Statistics" tab (chart use little stronger filtering system), but in all other places except chart, values should really be same, consistent.

Sure. This is an example. Same thing for many tracks that I tested.
