App hangs in initialization after buying Pro

Hi,
on my Nexus 7 tablet, I was quite happy using the free version of Locus. So happy indeed that I decided to buy the Pro version in the play store. Now, when I try to start the Pro version for the first time, it asks me to accept the Terms & Conditions, and afterwards hangs indefinitely in a screen titled "Initialisierung..." (i.e. "Initialization...") with an infinite progress bar labeled "Bearbeite..." (roughly "Processing..."). I've alredy tried waiting, stopping/starting the app, reinstalling the app, rebooting the device, removing all Locus maps and settings from internal storage (the device does not have an SD card) and now I'm stuck, I really would love to use my shiny new pro version!

A few days ago this problem in Locus app has occured.
We will do our best to solve this problem to the next Locus version.

If you're aware of the problem and actively working on it, I can wait for the next version, no problem (I can still use the free version on the tablet and the pro version on a different device), just keep us informed on the progress!

Same problem here - Asus Zenfone Z00AD. Very frustrating - when I actually need the app after some time to use it during my vacation abroad, it does not work. Can you please indicate when the fix is due? Thanks a lot.

The workaround described in that topic does not work for me, I downgraded the Google Play Store app, went to settings, clicked on the build version, but after I confirmed the following dialog about updating, nothing happens.
Edit: Maybe that was too quick. Nothing happens with the play store, no update is installed, but at least I could activate Locus Map now! yay! But am I now stuck on the old play store version?
Second edit: Never mind me, I'm just not patient enough. Both the play store and Locus are now current and working. Thanks!

Than tried to Install, without success.
Updated to Playstore 10.6.08 and tried to Install again. Without success.
Unfortunatelly the installation progress does interrupt frequently without Code : 506

But i'm still on PlayStore 10.6.08 and there is no available Update for my Samsung S5 :(

I've installed 10.7.19 manualy as apk from the Internet ,
but the Installation of Locus Maps pro does still show the same issues and won't install...

I'm having the same problem with Android 10 and Google Play Store version 25.-something or other.
I disabled "beta app" versions in the settings in android, and it fixed this.
I noticed some sort of mention of beta apps when looking through the Google Play Store settings searching for something that would be of help. Locus map pro and Locus map for both were doing similar. The screen would say initializing or working and be stuck in that mode indefinitely.
