Hello,
When I ridden on a bicycle in the last year I used track guidance in previous version.
The screen was automaticly goes up with the sound in the same time. Now I hear only the sound - but the screen is still off. Very often the sound is lost in the noise of the street. It would be nice to have sound and screen on near by poi points.
What should I change in settings?

please describe us what track you use for guidance (source of track), how you start guidance, maybe some screenshots from running guidance? There is quite a lot of possibilities (and possible places for existing issue) and from your description isn't perfectly clear what happen on your screen ... thanks

After some more tests I found that screen actually sometimes goes off. Unfortunately not for long. After approx 3 sec the screen turns on even if I'm really far from track. Seems this issue have two faces. The screen stays on and only action is dimming display (also buttons on device starts blinking) or turning on/off in waves. Such a case occurs only when locus is guiding me on path. When locus guide to single point all works fine.
I'm also attaching some screenshots of my settings.
To create path I'm using http://bikeroutetoaster.com/ or http://www.gpsies.com/.
My device is Note 3, Android ver. 4.4.2

Martin, as I read your previous messages, I'm little bit confused. In your initial post you wrote that "but the screen is still off". Now you write that screen is always "on" and sometimes goes "off".
Anyway since release of 3.8.2 version, I already did a small changes in this feature, so please wait to another version 3.9.0 and test it. It should work as expected I hope :). Thanks and sorry for a troubles.

I have too problem with screen auto-on. having set turn off if idle for...30s, the interval always ovrrides system default (2 min.). I would say the autoidle off should be counted down only if screen was auto waked up by Locus notification. The screen also unexpectedly turned off during working with dialog (+ applying lockscreen in background) - I have Turn off screen lock to ON.
