Autoload map pages

After update to 3.38.1/2/3/4 Locus doesn’t autoload Oruxmaps pages. My territory is divided in to pages (use Ozi maps converted to Oruxmaps), but Locus doesn’t load next pages after finish previous page. In setting I choose “Automatic map loading”

there still might be some smaller problems in recent Locus Map version. Is it possible for you, to share with me two connected maps that I may use for testing and fixing of this issue? Thank you.

One correction. Pages loading is working (very slowly) when GPS is ON. It was much faster in 3.38 version.

Pages loading doesn't work when GPS is OFF. In 3.38 version pages loading worked in both situation GPS ON/OFF

Good day Dainius,

thank you for your maps. These maps really confirm issue in Locus Map map auto-loading system. I made some improvements that should improve this feature. So please give it a try in next Locus Map version and let me know. There are currently no plans for another version, but most probably it will be published till end of the June.

After update to version 3.38.6 situation became better . But only after restart device. Locus loads pages, but different type of maps . From the begining I load Orux map page, but next page loads not Orux map, but locus map. In setting I choose "Autoload same map type pages"

by "locus map" you mean LoMaps from Locus Store? App loads this map next to your raster Orux map? Aren't you using any map overlay with loaded LoMaps as overlay?

Hi,

To be precisely not "LoMaps from Locus Store", but "maps from Openandromaps". I can't explain what really is going, but you are right it is something like maps overlay. When jump from raster map page, programm shortly shows vector map and on the top appear raster map (next page). But this situation heppens not every time. Sometimes raster map page doesnt' appear at all. ( it is after raster map page I see not next page raster map, but vestor map accoding to raster map coordinates. In my setting I didn't let maps overlay

Hello, I think I've just today found the reason of this behavior. So in the next version 3.38.7 (at the end of this week), it will be improved.

A small warning, it still won't be best mainly in cases, there will be more maps to load at once, but definitely a lot better.

After updating to version 3.38.7 raster map pages connection works in a such way

Program connects pages only if map detail is less than 400m. Connect pages only down and horizontally. Not connect pages to Up
