Automatic export setting resets to default

In track recording profile I set Strava as an automatic export service. But Locus keeps resetting itself to default (GPX) after each phone restart and also app update.

Update: reset happens by itself after some time, not only on phone restart or app update. I basically have to set it up from scratch before each run (3-4 times a week).

sorry to hear it. Quite interesting problem. In case of any problem with storing preferences, Locus should completely forget on "auto export" option, so no export should happen. In your case anyway, auto-export is done, just to incorrect format.

Really hard to solve ... firstly please try to create a new recording profile and set it from scratch, just for sure. Then I'll need, once you start app, open settings of track recording and notice this problem, to create a log by this method: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log

You may also try to setup recording profile and after that, create me backup of your settings (menu > more > backup manager), so I may restore your settings and check it.

You are right, Locus completely forgets the setting. That is what happens. I described the problem wrong. No automatic export happens after this "automatic" reset.

I will try to set a new profile from scratch and see what happens. Will let you know.

That was probably some problem with my phone's OS. I have updated the firmware and everything works smoothly to this day. Even after recent app update the setting is in place.

One little suggestion - an indication of the automatic export in the track recording panel would be nice. This way it would be clear before the start which parameters are active for the profile. Pls see the screenshot.

Suggestion registered: agree that this information may be useful. Currently two from four "advanced options" are visible on this panel. I'll consider improvements here, thanks.
