Automatic kmz export every day
Answered
Is it possible to have automatic export of tracks andpoints (not running, cycling when I stop) that I have made that day , in theend of the day, on drive or mail or something else.
I didn’t find it anywhere in settings or here.
Theidea is that when I go out I will mark some points that i want , on daily basis, and in theend off the day Locus should automatically export so the other people could accessto see that points without me sending it every evening.
Hi,
automatic export is possible to be set up in settings of a track recording profile (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:recording:profiles_settings). However, it saves only the activity made in that particular profile, not in another one - you have to set up automatic saving for all used profile if needed but each such automation saves an individual KMZ file, not of all activities in different profiles in one KMZ.
If you need to export everything what has been drawn on map during a day - tracks and points, use "Share map content" feature (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:share#share_map_content). Unfortunately, this feature can be launched only manually, not automatically.
