I suggest making an additional switch in the settings to choose the background color for the "left " transparency control panel of the calibrated map between white and transparent. Then it will be very convenient for you to manage the transparency of the calibrated map. Look at the picture.

Hello people,

in the Locus Map 4, the "Map overlay" panel is created as a bottom-based panel so the map can be easily modified and visually validated. So I consider this idea as implemented.

This mechanism does not work for displaying calibrated maps.

And again, even in your example, the background of the dialog box is black. The fourth part of the map "disappeared" from the screen.

The map area is the most important object of the Locus, which should be as large as possible in area.
And all that is needed for this, in this case, is just to make a transparent background.
