Big issue with the data menu since 3.7

Hi !
I work with Locus pro for a round the world bike trip. It's my only GPS and it works fine !
Except that after the update to the 3.7 version, I just have no access to the menu "data", which contains everything ! My previews tracks for the next days and all the recorded tracks !!!
I tried different things, unsuccessfully. Yesterday, I tried to delete the app and reinstall it : it was all right all day, and just this evening, not possible to access the menu again !!
I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S4. Locus version 3.7.1.
Are you aware of this bug or am I the only one facing it ?
Is there an easy turn-around ? Need help !!

Romain - I had a check too. I have always accessed "Data" from a button at the top of the screen rather than via the main menu. I can't find "Data" in any menu in 3.7.1.
Maybe this workaround will help you - from main menu > Settings > Map - controls & panels > Set functions panel > Add function to panel > Screens > Data > set as one of your buttons.

I still have the shortcut button to access to the data. And anyway, I could use the main menu > data.
But when I click on it : it close the app with a black screen and a message : Locus has closed : Ok / Report.
That's why I call that a big issue : the app just crash every time I try to enter this "data" menu.

Ok, thanks a lot for the links. I had to make it work one more day, cause I really need it for tomorrow ! So I tried again to reinstall the whole thing. It works for now... As soon as it gets bad again, I catch the logs and I send it to the support !
But now I know that there is a procedure and people who can help !

thanks for your logs, it seems to help.
Are you using BETA versions of Locus? Probably not. I've just published new version of Locus into beta channel. How to use it, may be found here on old forum http://forum.locusmap.eu/index.php?topic=3867.msg28713#msg28713 . Issue should be now fixed in latest beta version, so you may try it on your own. Otherwise, please wait on next Locus version.
Unfortunately there is no workaround for your problem, so you really needs a new version. Thank you and sorry for a troubles!

I would do that if I was at home... but I'm doing a little bike travel (45 000km around Europe and Asia) and I really use Locus every day to record tracks, as a bike computer (thanks to your marvellous dashboard) and to show me the maps I downloaded the day before.
I fear that a BETA version would fail me sometimes, and as I'm about to enter Russia, with its dirty dust small roads... I really need to rely on Locus as much as possible.
Do you think the BETA version would be stable enough ?
(Off course I have a spare app for offline maps just in case, but... it's not the same !)

Understand. Hmm nope, it won't be stable enough. Anyway if you use Locus Pro, then beta install as Locus Free. So you may have both at once. I do it in same way, for testing beta (Locus Free) and when something do not work as expected, I just turn on Locus Pro. Most settings is shared, rest may be transfered by backup manager (only settings). All maps, points etc. are shared.
Anyway do not waste a time on this if you don't have any. It is not so important. Enjoy Your journey!

I'm affraid i don't know what is a vector map... I've seen it on the manus but as I know nothing about, I used the classic ones. For Russia I use Yandex and Tomtom instead of MTB.
But then Iwill try to find out about the vector maps, if it can be used offline.

Just to let you know that Locus isn't working for two days now.

When I go on "Download offline maps", to get a Vector map, a progress bar appears for few seconds, and then it crashes.
Can it helps if I give you another bug report with this new configuration ?

Hmm, how can I help you now? It is still same issue when you open data manager right? I wrote few days ago, that this problem is already solved in Beta version. Did you tried this version? I also cannot release immediately new version of Locus Pro, because not all required tasks are finished, but there is high chance, that new version will be released within this week.

Yes, big chances that it's the same issue.
It was just to know if it could help if you had another bug report.
No hurry, we can manage without accessing the datas for few days :)

Since the last update, it was perfect : no bugs !
But this morning I updated Locus to the last version...
Now it's impossible to open the app.
Locus crash everytime I open it, so it is not working at all now...

Just downloaded the latest update that talks about "random crash at start" (5mn ago).
It still crashes for me (S4)...
