Hello.

Which version of Locus do you use ? Could you send me a screenshot of display on portrait? Thank you.

Hi Adela

Version 3.40.2

Screenshot attached. The buttons are dead - zoom, location, orientation, but only in portrait.

It was working fine. There are two things I have done recently which may have affected it.

1. Updated phone to Android 10

2. Used the dashboard for the first time - possible conflict. However the bottom panel still does not work when dashboard off.

Some new information:

What is happening is that locus map is not using up the whole display area of the phone when in portrait and this is stopping the bottom panel buttons working.

If I rotate the phone to landscape and back it sometimes fills up all the display area and then it works. I may have to do this several times to get it to work . Always if I close the app and reopen it, it goes back to not using the full display area.

The two files show the difference in display area

After some more investigation: there is a very small button active area, maybe just one millimetre deep, just about on the top of the panel when the phone is in portrait. This would tie in with the fact that the display is not filling up the whole screen.

There is also another related anomaly which have just noticed. When in landscape the lock button dissapears off the screen as well as the right hand panel. See attached file.

So for some reason Locus map is misinterpreting the phone display size.
