Locuspro installed. Brouter installed and relevant areas selected. Don't succeed finding adresses in open map (netherlands) offline. See only other installed maps. But not Netherlands.

Hi Cor,

when you need to search offline addresses in Netherlands, you need to download LoMap of Netherlands first. Then please select offline mode in the Search options: https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:search#offline_search. Then select Netherlands and go on with town, street etc.

Ho Michal,

Thank you for the info.

I have installed the Lomap of the Netherlands (see attachment).

When I open this map and choose the find function and the offline option I don't see and so can't select The Netherlands (see attachment). As you see I can only select Drenthe and England. Also Belgium does not show. Help please.

Question: I have downloaded and installed Brouter. I thought I needed this for finding offline adresses but is not right. What do I need it for?

Alongside with your map, there has to be a db file, is it there? Re-Download?


Brouter is about routing, unrelated to your problem.

Hi Tapio,

There is no db file. I tried to download the Lomap of the Netherlands but failed (see the arrow in the attachment).

Do I have to delete the existing Lomap file of The Netherlands to solve this problem?

Hi Cor,

yes, probably this problem is caused by some faulty download of the LoMap. Please remove the Netherlands.map file from Locus/MapsVector folder and try to download the map agai. It should download together with the .db file.

I removed as you advised but I still can't download Lomap Netherlands complete version (see arrow in attachment). I have enough Locoins.

Please help.

Hello Cor,

I'm sorry for troubles. Would you please try following:

  • open information center (symbol 'i' in the left corner of the map screen)
  • delete ALL message
  • open Menu - Store and try to download map again

It probably doesn't help - for this reason I'd like to ask you for the debug log. How to create the debug log is described at https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log

So please Start downloading > wait for error > collect the log file as described in mentioned article
