Problem with import of KML points
Not a Problem
I selected about 20 points in KML format. The app was looping indefinitely through them, with every loop telling me they were duplicates. No way to exit, closed app and reopened it, points were there.
Good day Roger,
to fix the possible problem, we need to simulate it on own device. So exact steps, best with files that cause problems, are needed. Thanks

Ok, note that I don't mind the problem (if it is a problem), I am only assessing the app at this point. the message was just for info.
I have attached the files. From my Samsung S7, I selected all of the files for import through Points then Import than selected the files.

Good day Roger,
thanks for files. As I see, all these files (except HAT-x) contains almost identical data. If you select all of them and import, the app just asks what to do with every file when there are same data as are already imported. I most probably was not in some infinite loop. You just did not confirm all files. Is this behavior you did not expect? If, then what you expect, how an app should react in case, you import 32 duplicate files?

Hi, not sure if can reply by email but will try. I cycled through them a number of times, first selecting skip and then selecting replace (not sure of the option text). I am pretty sure i cycled 3 times.
But if you are right, then we are good.
Thanks

Hello, sure you can.
The problem in this case is that Locus Map asks on every file separately. You may try it with for example two files. You still should get info dialog with information about duplicities, but only once (if you check "don't ask").
Anyway, my quick check in notepad on PC shows that files are really almost identical. Probably wrong multi-export from your desktop application?
If there is something I may help with, feel free to write/ask. Otherwise, I think that app behaves correctly.
