Bug in 3.0 when adding a Waypoint
Solved
Since Update to 3.0 Locus show some strange behavior. I am not sure when it happen, but it seems when adding a new waypoint to a Geocache with the new Panel.
The result is, that the Geocache (not the waypoint, this is added regulary) is dobbled, but only on the map, not in the Database. When clicking on the Geocache on the map, Locus shows a List where i see all Points (under my finger) and i can take one of them to open. (Same behavior when more than one Waypoint is on the same location)
Now when I delete one of the dobbled geocaches, one is deleted, but I am not able to open the others again. They are shown on the map, but not able to click on it. in The database the Geocache is deleted.
Another related bug: when logging a Geocache as found, the "Guiding" to the Geocache is NOT switched off. It's still guiding to the Geocache. since last Version the Guidung was swiched off after logging.

Hello k@y,
unfortunately I'm non able to simulate any of two problems you report.
What is source of cache you use for this? Because with cache stored in Locus database (after import), it seems to work fine.

Hello Menion,
now i was able to reproduce the bug in detail:
- I used a Mystery Geocache and i updated his data via Locus (and stored in Locus)
- than i added a new waypoint to the Geocache, with the ne Panel
- The Waypoint is stored in the List of Waypoints in the Geocache
- now (without closing the Geocache) i go to the List of wayoints
- the "new" Waypoint is off (not shown on the map, eye is white, not blue)
- I click on the Waypoint (i dont switch it on)
- the waypoint will be open
- I click on "guide to"
- the map is shown, the waypoint is shown and there is a guide from my position to the waypoint
- since here everthing is perfekt
- But now i have the Geocache it self 2 times on the map, like i discribe (and the waypoint is ON in the List of Waypoints)

Perfect description, thank you. With exactly same steps, I was able to reproduce this problem and also fix it.
And problem with Guiding ... hard to say. Maybe it was related also to this issue?
If you will have time (today or in Monday), you may check this fresh version https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8015949/_temp/3.0.0.1_locus_free.apk. Otherwise release will be in Tuesday

I tested it and it looks working well now ;-) Thanks a lot for your Work!!!!

Only one thing: when guiding to a Geocache and logging as found, the guide will be off (thats ok) but when guiding to a waypoint of a geocache and logging the Cache as found, the Guide is not off (not good). But i am not sure if this behavior is new... but in most cases it makes sense to switch guiding off after logging a cache ;-)
Maybe you can implement this "auto switch off" also for waypoints?

Perfect, glad to help and thank You for precise report and help!
And to "disable guiding" stuff. Locus never disabled guiding on waypoints before, but I agree it make sense - improved.
