Cannot find Locus Map Watch Pro in Galaxy Store

I have a Samsung Gear 2 Neo Smartwatch. I cannot find the Locus Map Watch Pro App in the Galaxy Store. Why? I also have a Samsung Active 2 Smartwatch and not problems installing.

Hi Marion,

we are very sorry but we don't know the reason. Unfortunately, the development of the Locus Map Watch add-on had to be suspended due to lack of resources. Hopefully, we'll be able to continue some time in the future. Until then, no changes, fixes or improvements can be made. Thanks for understanding.

Dear Michal,

Thank you very much for your feedback. However, I am a bit disappointed with your answer. For years, I have been a paying and happy customer of Locus map pro. Now I bought a Samsung Gear which you specifically mentioned on your page as being compatible with the Locus Map Watch Add-on as all watches on Tizen and Wear OS. The only reason for buying this watch was being able to use it with Locus and now you sort of leave me standing here with the message that it is absolutely unclear when this bug will be fixed just like any other problem that might occur upon the use of the Locus Map Watch AddOn. Why do you then not inform your customers to better not buy a Samsung if they wish to work with Locus? That would really help a lot! Thank you for your understanding that now I am really not happy with Locus any more..

I perfectly understand your being upset. This situation doesn't make us happy, believe me. We are on the brink of removing support of Tizen and Wear OS smartwatches completely until this situation is solved. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.

If you want your money back, it is still possible to refund your Locus Map Pro purchase.

Yes it is possible, we have considered this option. For the time being, our whole team is engaged on development of Locus Map 4 and related environment.

Thanks for your feedback, Michal, good to know that the Locus Map Watch AddOn App seems to be dying and is not supported any more. Then it does not make sense for me to keep the Samsung Watch for the sole reason of using Locus on it. On the other hand, the Garmin devices you support are way too expensive for my needs...
