Cant add WMS on one device

In Progress

I a new phone that i made a restore from older locus backup. Right away WMS maps were corrupt and I removed them. Tried adding again and it says "Process unsuccessful" every time. Grabbed another phone and on that I can add the exact same WMS without any issues. Are the old WMS configurations still there blocking the new enries or what might be the problem? Any file I can delete?

Hi Nils,

It's really strange behavior. Are you sure that you used the same URL on the both devices?

The definition for WMS maps is stored in the file /Locus/data/config/wms_maps.lb (and restart the app). You can delete it but you lost all definitions for WMS maps (if you use more WMS services) . I would suggest to close the app > backup mentioned file > delete it > start app again and add problematic service.

Let me know about progress

Petr

Yes I am certain I entered the correct address. Also the backup did not enter the wms that worked on previous phone as they probably was unsuccessful when restoring backup. I will try to delete file and see what happens but I am suspecting something with xiaomi phone not accepting connection?

I do not know if it helps but there seems to be also a folder in Locus > cache > map > wms.

Inside this wms folder find your services. Maybe some corruption here ?

I did not delete for a test while all used services are ok. (All are public ones without login )

There is always something special on Xiaomi devices. However would you please try to create the debug log as described at https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:how_to_create_debug_log BTW: would you please share the URL of 'problematic' WMS service.
