Can't download MapQuest maps anymore: Error 2 connect to server fails
Not a Problem
Since yesterday download of Map Quest classic, maps doesn't work, stop to download zoom 17, download begin and stop in 3100 images only : always reports Error 2: connect to server fails. And says to better try it later. But when??? Thanks.
Begin download another portion of mapquest, city of Goiania - Brazil, and download is ok, no error. The same error appears when download zoom 17, error 2 :" connect to server fails. And says to better try it later"

Hi Carlos,
error 2 is often caused due to undefined error on server side or error in internet communication. Please check if mentioned area is available in online mode.
However please consider if you really need to download such detailed map. In Locus store are available LoMaps offline maps that contains same elements like MapQuest map but LoMaps use different technology and you can zoom in into bigger level of detail.

Yes, I need the maps with the greatest detail possible because develop jobs in mining and these require a lot of terrain details. The maps indicated, LoMaps are paid, I have only two free available, so, I need to know what happens I can not download the zoom 17, 18 or others. I must say that the other's zoom download is normally done.

Hello Carlos,
have you checked the downloaded area in online view, please. I mean to select Mapquest as online map > move map to the problematic area an check if data are loaded in zoom level 17, 18.
Honestly I'm worry that I can not help you in this situation. Error 2 is some Internet error that we can not influence in Locus app
