Gathering feedback

Long press on map initiates reverse address look up (address pop up). With LoMaps installed, an offline search is performed on the LoMaps database, which is often inaccurate and lacking in detail. If LoMaps are absent and online search is performed on Google, Bing or Graphhopper, according to user choice for online address search. Google and Bing give better results than offline LoMaps - they give locality as well as post town and also give post code.

Would it be possible for users to be able to select online or offline search for reverse address look up.

Also, additional poi databases from OpenAndroMaps (which do not contain addresses) may or may not interfere with the reverse address lookup, with no obvious reason as to why it why not. Would it be possible to resolve that?

so If I understand correctly, the reason for this idea are 'inaccurate' LoMaps maps. Would you please send me more information about the problems in LoMap addresses? (Maybe better in separate topic)

The reson is that i wont buy LowMaps.

And there is a bug in current version that makes adress search unusable.

You shouldn't be influenced by this idea or issue if you don't use any LoMap map. In case that no LoMap is found for requested location, the app uses default online address search.
