Commands in Window "Create Waypoint" aren't diplayed correctly

Solved

After I use Locus for the first time on my brand new smartphone I realize that there is a display problem. Actually I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 8) and Locus Map Pro 3.34.1.

Bug description:

If you open Locus Map and then the details of a geocache you can create a new waypoint using the menu in the upper right corner. There you will find "Create Waypoint". And in the next window there is the problem. At the bottom of this window you will find three commands. The first I can't read because it's cut. The two others are "Cancel" and "Add". In german "Add" means "Hinzufügen". But it's also cut. You can see this in the screenshot I made and add to this ticket.

In the past I use a Galaxy Note 4 (Android 6). On this phone I didn't have this problem. Since I use the Galaxy Note 8 I made some updates of Locus so it's possible that this dispay bug can be generate from an update of Locus and not from the phone.

At the Note 8 you can change the resolution of the display. But it's equal which resolution I choose. The problem is still there.

Greetings

Daigers

Hello,

thanks for bug report. It is indeed result of some changes in latest app version. Button buttons are (from left) : "Guide to, Cancel, Add". German language seems to be (again) too long.

Solution? Add away "Guide to" button? Hmm, seems to be quite useful. Any idea?

Hello menion

do it non verbal, only with buttons. No translation, no space problem

e.g.

icon "guide to", icon "trashcan", icon "+"

For me I don't use "Guide to". But perhaps this function is very important for other people.

The idea from balloni55 is not bad. Only buttons (without text) can be the solution.

Thanks balloni,

cannot say I'm perfectly happy with this design (confirmation buttons in bottom panel + action button "guide to"), but better than texts before and no better idea. So, solved for now.
