Compass not working at all

Having issues with the compass. It does not work in "hardware mode". It works fine in other apps so i believe it is a Locus issue. I have tried all options on the compass option menu, and the dial will move when it kicks into GPS course mode, but otherwise simply shows north as being up on the phone and does not move. I have tried calibrating it, no change. I`m sure it`s something simple that i`m missing, but i can`t find it.
I`m using Locus Pro V 2.5.2. Phone is a Casio Commando w/ Android 2.3.3

1. some rotation by hardware compass works in other application like Gps Status etc right?
2. In Locus when you go to satellite screen and at bottom enable "Compass" (same as in settings > sensors > Use hardware compass", then when you display compass screen or at bottom of map, enable "Rotate map", nothing change?
there is no additional and very secret settings, so if this not work, it have to be issue in Locus. Was this working for you in previous versions?

The only other version I have used is the Locus Free that is currently on Android Market. The compass did not work on that version either. I assumed it was intentionally disabled on the free version.

Because I don`t want to write it again here ... check this new post http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu... , mainly long log message. So please record for me log message that will cover whole your trying to rotate a map etc. There will be (I hope) some error. Thanks!

1. please don`t copy it directly here, rather send in as an attachment. I have to copy text from here to text file to check it
2. so programs may print some personal messages so it`s really not recommended to post it to public
and finally 3., log do not contain any information that should help. Are you interested in solving of this issue? If so, I can create for you some special version that will print more useful information
weird is that no one except you have same problem and then other apps works for you ...

I`d love to get the problem solved, as your app is great but I need the compass. Using a different compassion app is just annoying. Just let me knew what I need to do. Also thanks for the heads up about posting the log file.

I have the same problem. The compass worked fine a few days ago, but one day I opened Locus and the compass was not moving, the north is always at the top of the screen.

The compass was working fine in versions 2.4.0 and 2.5.0. There must be a change related to hardware compass in the version 2.5.1 or 2.5.2, which causes the problem. The version 2.5.3 didn`t fix the issue.
Could you please send me APKs of versions 2.5.0, 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 to confirm which version exactly caused the issue?

If the "Use hardware compass" option is chosen:
When I select the "Rotate map" or "Show view" option, they have no effect. If I tap a point on the map and then select "Compass", the compass is shown, but it is static (north at the top).

I`ve tried the supplied "2.5.3.1.apk". During the start, white screen is shown and nothing happens, phone does not respond. After a few keypresses and some time elapsed, this is displayed:
"Activity Locus Free is not responing" (Force Close / Wait).

side effect of some my work, sorry. All fixed now anyway I`ll rather play with it a little and in the afternoon I`ll put here some version for normal usage and testing till new version will be on market (this will take at least one week)
