Copying of coordinates no longer possible on Samsung Galaxy Note+ (Android 9)

Hello and good evening,

i miss the function on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (Androide 9) to copy the coordinate set from the main view (adjustable in the upper left corner) or from a created point.

My Samsung Note Edge had the possibility to copy the coordinate sets. What am I doing wrong and who can help me?

Thank you in advance and a peaceful Christmas.

Kati

The coordinates in the topbar can be copied to the clipboard by a "longpress" and then pasted in for example Google Maps. That is even easier than sharing your location.

Many thanks for your response.

I knew that the coordinates in the top bar could be copied to the clipboard by a long press and pasted elsewhere. It is a very nice function. That worked fine on my Samsung Note Edge, only with my Note 10+ does the copy from the top bar not work and I don't know where the error is. Is there a setting within Locus that it can be copied from the app?Unfortunately, I didn't find anything there and didn't have to set anything in advance on my old smartphone to be able to explicitly copy coordinates.

Hi Kati, I can't help you any further. But you better mark your topic as "unresolved" or "needs answer", then the Staff will look into it.

You probably knew allready abvout Menu / More functions / sharing / share my location one time and copy from there.

Hello Henk,

thank you for your suggestions.I could not mark the topic myself as "unsolved" or "must be answered".

Instead, I opened a new topic under "Problems" and that it was not fundamentally wrong.

hope the staff will take care of it.

I was familiar with the function share location, but I mostly switched off the location services for various reasons.

In addition, the function I was looking for (copy coordinates) is definitely available, but unfortunately not currently used by me with Note 10+ under Android 9 and Locus version 3.42.0 for unknown reasons.

Best regards

Kati

Hello Kati,

interesting problem. Do you see coordinates in the top panel? This is the only condition to make this "copy" work.
