Crash when moving to a track that is not in current map

Locus displays an offline RMAP of country A.

I import a gpx track from some far away country B.

Locus (latest pro) crashes when "show on map after import" is selected.

When I restart Locus, I find that the track was imported nicely. Clicking on the map icon in track list does nothing... the map does not move... no more crash though. Obviously, country B (the place of the track) is not contained in offline map for country A.

Not sure what the correct procedure would be when trying to move to a track that is not in the current map... maybe auto-switch to a map that actually contains the track? In any case, the crash right after import is not nice.
