Custom maps in Providers.xml stopped to work with last update
Solved
With last update, custom maps defined in providers.xml disappeared from online maps.
No changes in settings, providers.xml is still on the same place, but custom maps just don't appear.
Android 4.4.4
cannot confirm. Please share one map defined by xml that do not work for you, I'll check it.

None of the maps are imported in the new version. Here is the xml.
It seams to me more like the file is not parsed at all. No errors are shown, no maps appear.
Thanks

Hello,
your XML file is not valid. On last line is tag , but this tag has no start tag. So adding to start after <xml ...> should solve this issue.

Thank you! That was really the reason. I am just surprised it stopped to work together with the update, not with the last change I did in the file when I probably accidentally removed that tag.
Thank you, m

Hi
I have a similar problem on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini unfortunately recently upgraded to Android 4.4.2
I have chosen to move Locus (Pro)'s files to /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro/files/
Except for my raster maps (/storage/extSdCard/Locus/maps) and vector maps (/storage/extSdCard/Locus/mapsvector)
Everythings works fine except the custom providers.xml is not loaded anymore (Locus Pro v3.3.1)
I have my custom providers.xml in /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/menion.android.locus.pro/files/mapsOnline/custom/)
I also tried to make a copy into /storage/extSdCard/Locus/mapsOnline
I tried to add the mapsOnline and mapsOnline/custom directories to the map search directory
But still I don't get any of my custom online maps.
XML is fine as it works properly in my Samsung Tab 2 7.0 running same version of Locus 3.3.1 but under Android 4.2 with all files in /storage/extSdCard/Locus.
XML is here
Any idea ?
In the above setup (files in extSdCard/Android), where custom maps shall be stored ?
Thanks in advance

Good day Barbudor,
correct directory should be .../Android/data/menion.android.locus(.pro)/files/Locus/...
So simply, whole "Locus" folder from card/internal memory, should be moved to directory "files". So probably in this "files" directory will be next to your own copied directories, also directory "Locus", automatically created by Locus itself. So please check it.

Everything now works with the additional "Locus" sub directory.
Many Thanks Menion.
