Bucky Kid probably asked for a better description of your idea. I'm also not perfectly sure about it. I can imagine that you need a button that allows to turn off a screen, that may be placed into dashboard? If so, why this?
Generally, better, more readable name & description of your idea > more votes > higher chance to be implemented.

Cearting a dashboard, means to collect some functions on the LCD-surface. One of these should be the function LCD OFF to reduce energy consumption (while track recording (i.e.). Otherwise you must press the mecanical switch to swictch off the LCD. This function LCD OFF as a dashboard-function you find by ozi-explorer (in my first life i used ozi-explorer...then i found locus :-)). LCD OFF via dashboard is very comfortable to use (riding a bike i.e. while recording...).

Currently there are no settings that may be enabled/disabled over dashboard and it is also not planned, sorry.
I suggest to define shorter timeout in your device, till screen is turned off automatically. You may also define to enable screen by Locus in case of notification during navigation/guidance. Thanks for understanding.
