Deactivating vector maps

Hello,

I am testing several vector maps for locus pro 2.12.2 showing the same part of germany in order to decide which map fits better.

Therefore i am looking for a way to deactivate a vector map, so that the map is not shown in locus pro but stays available on the sd card? I just found the option to delete a vector map, but then it is also deleted from the sd card.

Two options:

1) Move (not delete) maps to a different folder like "alternateMaps"

2) like 1) and add/remove a 2nd folder for these maps at Locus/Settings/Miscellaneous/Directory with maps

or you may just manually rename map endings. Currently all maps ends with ".osm.map", so change it to for example ".osm.map2" and will not appear in list.

anyway I also suggest tommi`s solution, because it`s much easier for more then one map

Thank you very much ....

Can I assign different map themes to these different map directories?

Will these map themes automatically activated, when I change the map directory in the Settings dialog?

no this is not possible. There is only one active theme and this theme is assign to every map you choose. So there is nothing like predefined themes for individual maps. You select "cycle" theme and it will be applied to all maps till you manually change it
