diagram -> map view: button to switch directly back to diagram

If i choose a recorded track and open the information page of it, i can view a diagram with details of the track. thats fine. i can zoom the diagram to let me show single waypoints. very fine! also at the bottom of the diagram screen there is a button to switch to the map view and the actual selected waypoint is in the center of the screen. great! so far so good. but:

if i want back to the diagram view, now one of the ways is: click on the waypoint or track, choose "information" and then "diagram" ... with the result: the diagram is again in the biggest zoomlevel. not nice, if i want to continue with viewing another track waypoints on the map.

What i`m missing is a button in the map-view to switch directly back to the diagram, certainly to the last viewed waypoint, at the same zoomlevel...
