My use of Locus Maps is primarily for hiking and off-road use with topographic maps. As such, the Navigation feature is not of much use to me. I tend to use the Go To feature and just use a direct line between 2 points. Unfortunately, the Go To feature is pretty well hidden within Locus. I would like to be able to use the Navigation function, but be able to select a "straight line" routing method.

If you need to plan a route off road/path, use Route planner with manual mode (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning#drawing_instructions). Then start navigation along the created route (http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:along-route)
