Direction arrow on track

Answered

I remember that in one of the previous version of Locus after loading the track, when I have set the central cross on the track, then appeared on the arrows (exactly small triangles) they showing the direction of the track.

Is this functionality need be to turn on somewhere in the settings menu?

I have a file config.cfg set as you write. Unfortunately, the arrows do not appear.

same with all of your tracks?

hmm and you are sure

map_items_track_highlight_enabled is set to 1?

Because you have to exit Locus.

and then, after 3 seconds you should open and edit the cfg.

Hi guys,

I has been a very long time since tracks do not react on simple moving of center cross. You have to tap with finger on a track, to make it "active". Then arrows should appear. Because it works in this way already at least 3 or 4 months and even a gynta discovered it now, I think it was good decision :).

To explain this change: Locus do not need to check all visible tracks if center cross them or not. Less computes, faster maps, better battery usage.

OK?

Ok, thanks for the explanation. It looks at simple and effective solution. I will be tested. greet

When I tap on a track, no arrows appear. I am using Locus Map Pro 3.30.3.

I have customized the track display for the folder in which the track is stored. Does that make a difference?

Hello Hans,

and when you tap on track, what happens? Does it open small white popup with basic stats? Post me please a screenshot. It is possible that you defined more complicated style for a track that does not display these direction arrows. Best for test is use plain simple color style.

Thanks for the answer. Yes, the popup is visible.

The default track style is using a pattern ("strichliert 1") defined on the folder (not on the track). I have attached the screen shot of the folder setting as well. The color itself is set to 100% in the color selection dialog

You are right, if I don't use a pattern for the track, the arrows are indeed visible.

Hello Hans,

ah yes. A style that has defined pattern do not display direction arrows, because they are then really hardly visible (because of the pattern).

That's unfortunate, but thanks for the confirmation.

But there are also defined patterns with arrows . Arrows 1,2 and 3 (or are these gone in 3.30.x ? Soryy, I have not upgraded yet; never do so short before a holdiay.
