Distance circles on map

While walking/recording the distance circles stay around the cursor at GPS fix. That is good.

But when not recording I would like to see the map moving around "under" the centered cursor with distance circles. Then you can plan ahead and see what distance approx needs to be covered.

In the evening, when looking ahead it sometimes does this.

Cursor stays on center with circles and the maps move under it.

Mostely the circles stay fixed around the GPS fix point however. So when moving the map the circles go off screen and cannot be used on the spot you want to check out.

Is this a matter of GPX fix YES/NO?

Or a trick that I miss...

When not recording I would like to keep the cursor center screen with the circles around it to be able to explore other places on the map. Move them under the center and see distances with the circles.

Many thanks for an explanation... or just an not possible, then I know.

Hi Zand,

yes, it is a matter of GPS fix - if you are fixed, then the circles are around the fixed location. If you are not, the circles are around the cursor. To get the circles around the cursor for plannin for example, just turn GPS off in Locus (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tools:gps).

best regards
