Does Locus auto-close background Android GPS services at exit?

Peter shared this question 9 years ago
Answered

When I start Locus (Free) and GPS is not currently running then Locus AUTOMATICALLY starts the GPS services.

What about the opposite: When I close Locus does Locus AUTOMATICALLY close necessary GPS services too?

Are all the following services needed for Locus:

- GoogleLocationManager

- GoogleLocationService

- NlpLocationReceiverService

?

Do I have to enable an (which ?) option to activate auto-close services?

Good day Peter,

you should see in your system notification bar, if GPS service is running in your device or not. Locus anyway always close active connection to GPS, so if there is no other app that currently needs GPS, it should be automatically turned off.
