no, the add-on uses the phone GPS in order to save the battery of the watch.

thats what I expected and appreciate your response.

Though, this watch has enough battery life to pull on for more than 1 day with GPS ON. The phone battery drains fast especially in cold weather, and the primary reason is GPS. And, a running phone is more valuable in wilderness than a watch.

If it can be easily provided as a option (use Watch GPS or phone GPS), pls do consider it.

Hi,

at this time, Locus Map Watch works only as an external monitor of Locus Map running on the mobile phone. Further development of this addon has been suspended due to lack of resources so in near future we don't expect any changes in it.
