Download additional data upon each startup
Not a Problem
I purchased locus pro recently. Upon startup it requires 5 MM additional to be downloaded. This happens over and over with each startup. Locus is useless in offline situations.

- if you have installed locus free, run it and build a backup
- uninstall locus pro, make a power off reset of your device, after that install locus pro once again from GooglePlay

there is no reason, why Locus should download data every start. What else do you see during start of Locus? Information about new instalation or list of updates (probably empty)?
Also what device are you using? Mainly ... are you using official rom or some alternative? What about root, rooted? Anyway I never heard about such problem with downloading, so it has to be some weird coincidence.

problem solved. Uninstalled Locus and reinstalled without map being stored on SD Card. Now it works fine.

Oki Karl, good to hear. Anyway when this problem happen again, let me know. Solution here should be creating some custom debug version that will print out some information, why this re-downloading happen again and again.
