Downloading Lo Maps Germany North not possible

The downloading prozess of the northern Lo Map of Germany always stops after several hundred MBs. Downloading the southern part was possible. My Locus Pro version is 3.18.9. There is plenty of space on the external SD-Card. I tried at least ten times a turned my smartphone on a off several times. What can I do now?

Hello,

I'd like to say that Locus should check the free space before downloading. However are you sure that map is downloaded on the external SDcard? By default are vector LoMaps downloaded to the folder /Locus/mapsVector that is in most of cases located in the internal memory. Would you please check location of mapsVector folder and also free space in internal memory?

Hi Petr,

Thanks for your immediate answer. There are way more than 10GB of free space on the internal storage as well as on the external SD-Card. The vector-maps are definitely being stored on the 64GB SD-Card (I checked the data and found the whole map of southern Germany alongside with the fragments of the northern map inside the folder I created for this purpose). After a failed download Locus Pro told me that the download didn't work, I should try later. I did so. Without success. Sometimes the download stops at about 400MB, sometimes at 800MB. Sometimes it's possible to continue the download, sometimes not. Do you have any idea?

Hi Lorenz,

thank you for info. Is there any other error message/code when downloading stops? What about any firewall or security app that could influence the internet communication. Do you use such app?

I also think if battery saver could stop downloading. I mean if downloading is active when screen is off.
