Downloading Maps / or part of it with PC

Hello!
is there a possibility to pick (download) some map or part of the map on my pc (via WWW / online) and then to transfer it to my mobile phone? Downloading over mobile phone/App is too slow...

There is Mobac application which is able to download maps in Locus format (RMaps/sqlitedb). Please use this app wisely, avoid an overloading of map servers

Both formats are the same (the databases structure is the same). So it doesn’t matter which format you choose.
I wrote RMaps because this app/format was an inspiration for Menion when he decided to use sqlitedb format in Locus.
