Dynamic scale units.

Scale unit over 10000m should be km reading 10km, 15km, etc. instead of 10000m, 15000m. Same for distance rings. Even better would be a config option to switch between current (static, all distances in m) and scale-based (dynamic, as mentioned here).

menu > settings > Language & Units > Distance units
Settings here has influence also on scale and distance rings. If you want to see km instead of m , be sure you have selected 'Metric (m/km)' and not just 'Metric (m)'
