Ease of use

I am currently trying to use Backcountry navigator and find it difficult to learn from their 150 page manual. I would like to see something simpler much like the handheld Garmin GPS 64s which I leaned in 2 days with a simple 15 page manual. Unfortunately the screen is too small to view while driving for search and rescue ops so I'm using anAndroid tablet. The need to download using tiles etc and trying to separate th wheat from the chaff when tying to use the app. I simply want to be able to download USFS type topo map and of Northern Arizona and perhaps use that to create a street type map source of the same area. After that I want to simply open the map offline, enter a goto destination using UTM coords and see both locations on the screen. I also need to see the track and enter waypoints along the route and when done download all of that to another device. I don't see where you have a downloadable manual so I have no way of determining if Locus is easier to deal with than Backcountry. I don't need to create a trip file first. Just be able to enter coords and go. Is there any place I can read an overview of how your app works before I subscribe? Thankyou

Hi John,

as Taras has said, Locus basics are here http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:basics. Basic sections can also be downloaded. The rest of the manual is available online.
