Not a Problem

I wanted to add photo to track point i added when recording. After i added photo, i wanted to change icon, so I tap 'edit'. I changed the icon and saw below html code of point info! Is it right? But lower i can see height in proper view (formated, without any html).

Hi,

without screenshot, I'm not sure what you see. But probably html code with statistics of track recording. Yes it is old system that I want to change, but it should be ok. Or is any problem with this?

Yes it is what you have written: it is in 'edit' of POI (added earlier to the recorded track). Common POIS edit is ok.

Fine, so these are statistics of track recording in the moment, you took this point. And I ask again, what is a problem with this?

... no problem... just lots of incomprehensive words and characters,

is it usable for any locus user or just artefact from author? :)

if you say that it is not a problem then it is left to user to edit statistics in html format?

and why only height is editable in user friendly way?

So... it is not a problem... just i dont understand how can i use it html.

It is a not long time ago, when these points were not editable. It is also not expected that someone will wants to edit these statistics. They are only used when you display track point detail, so you may see values in recording in moment you stored track. Of course, some manual editing of these values has no sense!

Also, if you edit any values here, it will have no effect on point itself. It is just a text visible to you. Why only height? Height and coordinates are only measured values that are editable for all points in Locus. Any why only these? Because during five years I do Locus, I never needed to edit any other parameters and no one till now asked for this :).

And quickly back to html code ... I have already in mind system which will remove this mess from description. I just had no time to implement to. So for now, please ignore these html texts, they will be removed soon or later. Thanks for understanding.

Thank you for comprehensive explanation.

I used edit only for change icon of POI, nothing more.
