Editing tracks can be cancelled without confirmation -> everything lost

Solved

To me, this is a biggie:

When editing a track (insert/edit trackpoints), it's possible to cancel editing with just one tap in the wrong screen area - and everything done so far is lost!

It happened to me more than once that I edited quite a lot of points at once, wanted to hit "OK", but instead tapped slightly below the OK - poof, everything was gone!

I think it either shouldn't be possible to cancel edit any other way than hitting "Cancel", or there should be a confirmation message ("Do you really want to cancel and lose all edits?").

Good point, absolutely agree. Improved.

I think that dialog for confirmation of cancel is not needed. When you tap by accident out of point, it will only slow down work with canceling of this unwanted dialog. So canceling will be possible only with active cancel/OK buttons.

Great, I actually forgot to write that I'd prefer it without additional dialog. You read my mind ;)

I just realized, a similar thing happens with "Cut part of track":

- Select a point, choose Cut part of track

- Select last point, tap the cut icon

- The part to cut is shown, in the upper right there are buttons "Cancel" and "OK"

- No tapping somewhere outside the track on the map also cancels the action

That surely is not as bad as with edit, but not great either. Perhaps that's already gone with above fix, but if not perhaps you can still get it into the next version ;)

Do not worry, already fixed in latest Beta ;). (same system)
