Enter the exact altitude at the start

Hi, I know the exact altitude of my house. Before leaving, I would like to impose this altitude as a reference point.

Can I do it and how?

I tried to set the Altitude manager in any way without success

this is really interesting question.

No such feature is currently possible. Only modification I see you may use is:

open "Altitude manager" and disable offset
get out on clear sky and open GPS screen and wait for a GPS fix ( rather wait a little longer to have really stable elevation value )
compute divide between measured and wanted elevation value
set this value into "Altitude manager" > offset > manual

Check if elevation value in GPS screen is correct. Maybe you will have twice big difference, so just change sign of inserted computed value in manual offset.

I'll try your solution. But I want to clarify that the interest of my question corresponds to very specific cases. For exam plein, Ulm or paragliding to know the distance to the ground of a landing field. cordially

Hmm paragliding ... I believe something related to needs of paragliding will come into Locus as well ( maybe this year ). Anyway for paragliding I really highly recommend using barometric sensor if your device has one. Otherwise only possible method for now is as I wrote ... calculate offset manually.
