Error in UTM coordinates
Solved
Error in UTM coordinates,
WGS S 42.34486 °,W 73.76352 °
shows them as
UTM 601848.530, -4688807.318 zone 18
is actually
UTM 601848.309, 5311192.889 zone 18
Locus is a great program.
Hello Cesarcu,
seems to be more complex problem because I discover that for south hemisphere is needed ability to select north/south hemisphere etc. So because I plan some updates in transformation coordinates, I have to leave this issue for now, but I`m sure I`ll fix it during spring/summer. So sorry for now!

I did for now at least small workaround, so UTM coordinates will be displayed correctly, but when you`ll want to edit them, they`ll be with negative coordinates on south hemisphere. As I wrote - just a temporary solution

"copied from JIRA"
I also have this problem.
when I input a UTM zone 23 (at south hemisphere) I get a northen hemisphere location.
whe I imput a lat;long coordinate and convert the units on Locus itself to UTM it gets the right value.
So its a bug just when I search for a UTM coordinate.
