Locus needs other Ellipsoid Datums than WGS84: in most of Central Europe the correct datum is "European Datum 1950" (ED50). The correct datum is important for trekking and mountaineering where you have to check GPS readings with ED50-based paper maps or vice versa.

Adding systems is based on known EPSG code, but it should not be a problem if you use any standard system like this.
