Why doesn't Locus check for tiles already downloaded in an area and incorporate them into a new map you are building that overlaps existing already downloaded tiles?

Good day Steve,

I have to ask if you are aware of three possibilities, how to download map tiles.

Please check this manual: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_download#final_settings_and_confirmation , section "Download type" and let me know if it helps you.

Saving as a "Supplimental" works. Skips already downloaded tiles.

I guess I better spend some time reading the docs.... ( RTFM )

Good application should not need a docs! (dream of Locus team :) ).

Anyway good you found it. It is little bit advanced feature, that's it is not maybe clear on first look.
