Experimental menu

In our household we have three phones with Locus Map Pro. A Samsung S7, A Samsung S8+ and a Ulefone Power 3.
Only the Samsung S7 is showing an experimental menu in settings. What is this and why isn't it showing on the other two phones?

this menu is really experimental anyway if you wants to play with a few options available there, just long-click on "settings" button in main app menu.
